Ryan's Story
"Ever since my teenage years, photography, sketching, and filming have been my creative outlets. At 18, I enlisted in the army, where I spent 11 years as a tank driver, paratrooper, Spanish and Persian-Farsi linguist, and interrogator. A series of injuries—including an explosion and a parachuting accident—forced me to leave that career. Exploring my home state became a healing journey, and I built a professional photography portfolio along the way. Over the past year, my wife, a Brazilian engineer, has joined me in this pursuit, and with the recent arrival of our first child, capturing life’s moments together has become a wonderful new adventure."
