12x18 Metal Ready to Hang Print
I love Florida! The birds are so different there compared with the birds I grew up with in the Western United States. So finding so many kinds of birds that I didn’t even know the names of was thrilling to me. I found this Limpkin while kayaking at Lettuce Lake, which is actually a river near Tampa. I had just been photographing a huge alligator when this beautiful Limpkin appeared. If you have ever tried taking pictures while on a kayak, you know how awkward it can be. This time everything fell into place and I scored this shot of a Limpkin with its favorite food!
